(San Diego, CA) \u2013 Local financial support for Brian Maienschein\u2019s re-election bid has collapsed, with 92% of his campaign donations coming from Sacramento-based PACs or corporate donors.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cPretty hard to argue that you are a \u2018community candidate\u2019 when almost all your money comes from Sacramento,\u201d said June Cutter\u2019s campaign consultant\u00a0Duane Dichiara. \u201cJune is a true community-focused candidate, and I believe she has a strong case to replace a career politician like Brian Maienschein in 2020.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
