Lisa Ordonez has been appointed as the new dean for the Rady School of Management at UC San Diego. Ordonez who is taking the place of the previous dean Robert Sullivan was recently the vice dean at the University of Arizona.<\/span><\/p>\n

Currently, Ordonez manages the $80 million budget and is responsible for overseeing the academic and research programs, along with the recruitment and promotion of the faculty members at the Eller School of Management at the University of Arizona.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ordonez attended UC Berkeley, where she obtained her doctorate in Quantitative Psychology and M.S. in Marketing.<\/span><\/p>\n

According to UCSD, Ordonez is expected to bring both a strategic and creative form of leadership to the business school. Also, Ordonez will bring leadership experience because of her previous involvement in the University of Arizona\u2019s 2019 Strategic Plan, where she served as co-chairman and worked to develop the university\u2019s plans better.<\/span><\/p>\n

The Rady School of Management has grown since its founding in 2003 and now offers an MBA program, a Doctorate program, a Masters of Finance program, Business Analytics and Professional Accountancy programs, along with several undergraduate programs. Its two-year master\u2019s program is listed as the 14th best in the world, according to Times Higher Education and the Wall Street Journal.<\/span><\/p>\n
