{"id":8026,"date":"2022-01-25T16:10:14","date_gmt":"2022-01-25T23:10:14","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/sandiegonewsdesk.com\/?p=8026"},"modified":"2022-01-25T16:10:14","modified_gmt":"2022-01-25T23:10:14","slug":"california-mom-sues-school-district-for-allegations-of-daughters-indoctrination","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/sandiegonewsdesk.com\/?p=8026","title":{"rendered":"California Mom Sues School District for Allegations of Daughter\u2019s Indoctrination"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Written by Andrew Morris<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A California mom is suing the Spreckels Union School District due to alleged coaxing of her daughter by several teachers to attempt changing her gender and pronouns, while simultaneously concealing her efforts from her mother.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The girl\u2019s mother Jessica Konen stated in an interview with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/california-mom-daughter-trans-spreckels\">Fox News<\/a>\u2019 \u201cFox and Friends\u201d on Tuesday that, \u201cIt made me extremely angry, and now I\u2019m taking action for that.\u201d She followed up saying, \u201cI\u2019m going to make sure that this doesn\u2019t happen anymore.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The complaint asserts that three teachers, including the principal Katelyn Pagaran, incited \u201cextreme emotional distress\u201d from their meddling. It adds that these teachers violated a law barring schools from overstepping their influence on a child, reserving this right for the parents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The two alleged perpetrators Lori Caldeira and Kelly Baraki have received heat in the past for similar activities, including allegations of the former breaking significant privacy laws to indoctrinate students into their program.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">When recruiting for their LGBTQ club called \u201cYou be You,\u201d Caldeira reportedly said that she<a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2021\/12\/29\/teacher-who-totally-stalked-students-for-lgbtq-club-responds\/\"> \u201ctotally stalked what they were doing on Google, when they weren\u2019t doing schoolwork.\u201d<\/a> This egregious behavior is a blatant break of professionalism on her part, by breaching the privacy of several students for a personal agenda.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Photo Cred: Istock\/ AndreyPopov<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Written by Andrew Morris A California mom is suing the Spreckels Union School District due to alleged coaxing of her daughter by several teachers to attempt changing her gender and pronouns, while simultaneously concealing her efforts from her mother.
