The agenda for the San Diego County Board of Supervisors meeting on Tuesday has revealed a shocking request from Supervisor Terra Lawson-Remer.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n In order to improve her team\u2019s skills, Supervisor Lawson-Remer has asked for a contract for staff development services and strategic planning with Dr. Delores Jacobs, an expert. As part of the contract, Lawson-Remer has requested $85k for media and communication consulting, and $50k for strategic planning consulting.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Considering that both sums of money come straight from the pockets of Californian taxpayers, Supervisor Lawson-Remer\u2019s request is comptley unreasonable.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n California is already in a poor economic state as a result of Gov.
