As of now, both locations have 500 doses available for healthcare workers and those over the age of 65.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The National City location is at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/maps\/dir\/32.875573,-117.2323364\/MARTIN+LUTHER+KING+JR+COMMUNITY+CENTER,+140+E+12th+St,+National+City,+CA+91950\/@32.7743656,-117.2355232,12z\/data=!3m1!4b1!4m9!4m8!1m1!4e1!1m5!1m1!1s0x80d952476f6aaaab:0x7f2ec94467f7425f!2m2!1d-117.1037704!2d32.6723153\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Martin Luther King Jr. Community Center<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on E 12th Street and the Oceanside location is at the <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandiegocounty.gov\/content\/sdc\/hhsa\/facilities\/north_coastal\/north_coastal_family_resource_center.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">North Coastal Live Well Center<\/span><\/a> on Ocean Ranch Boulevard<span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">. Both centers are run by the county and will be open from 9:30 am to 3:30 pm Sunday through Thursday. For more information about the locations, visit <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandiegocounty.gov\/content\/sdc\/hhsa\/programs\/phs\/community_epidemiology\/dc\/2019-nCoV\/vaccines\/COVID-19-VaxEvents.html\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">SanDiegoCounty.gov<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">At the moment, all locations require appointments and proof of identity. Appointments can be made <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sandiegocounty.gov\/content\/sdc\/hhsa\/programs\/phs\/community_epidemiology\/dc\/2019-nCoV\/vaccines\/COVID-19-VaxEvents.html\">here<\/a>. Eligible residents who do not have access to the internet can call 211 to make an appointment.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Other news from this weekend is that vaccine eligibility was expanded to include individuals over the age of 65. While this is an important step to helping us get back to normal, it is not enough. California currently ranks <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sfgate.com\/coronavirus\/article\/California-COVID-vaccine-rank-states-numbers-last-15890734.php\">dead last<\/a> in administering COVID-19 vaccines. And with the <a href=\"https:\/\/sandiegonewsdesk.com\/2021\/01\/california-ends-regional-shutdown-order-only-days-after-bidens-inauguration\/\">announcement Monday<\/a> that Gov.
