LA MESA, Calif. (December 30, 2020) —- Following up on the announced\u00a0retirement<\/a> of CEO Barry Jantz, the Grossmont Healthcare District (GHD) has announced its search for a new Chief Executive Offer.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis position offers an exciting opportunity for executive-level management professionals with career emphasis in health policy, health programs, and\/or public health to join the District under the guidance of an elected five-member board,\u201d said GHD Board President Virginia Hall.<\/p>\n

Importantly, the CEO serves as a liaison with Sharp Grossmont Hospital and community, state, and federal officials, assures legal compliance with state, regional, and community regulations, and monitors fiscal commitments and the operational budget of the District.<\/p>\n

\nThe Grossmont Healthcare District is a public agency that supports health-related community programs and services in East County. The District formed in 1952 to build and operate Grossmont Hospital. It serves as landlord of Sharp Grossmont Hospital and owns the property and buildings on behalf of East County taxpayers.
