Tina Inscoe won her race for Escondido City Council District 2. Inscoe won her race by about 3%, or 605 votes.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

As the endorsed candidate of the Republican Party of San Diego County, Inscoe had a great deal of support for her campaign.\u00a0<\/span>Between volunteers going door to door, thousands of calls and texts, and mailers sent to every Republican in the county, the party put a lot of work into helping Inscoe’s campaign succeed.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI love Escondido and over the years I have gotten to know it very well,\u201d Inscoe explained. \u201cI will work tirelessly to make our community the best city in the region. I have the energy and drive that is required for the job and I will not let you down.\u201d<\/p>\n

As a newly elected councilwoman, Ms. Inscoe has several priorities for the city of Escondido, which include:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u2013 Neighborhood beautification and blight elimination
\n\u2013 Supporting and improving public safety
\n\u2013 Reducing traffic congestion, improving roads and infrastructure
\n\u2013 Balanced Budgets<\/p>\n
