The Bomb Squad was called into La Jolla today.<\/p>\n
“We are actively investigating an incident in the in the 6000 block of La Jolla Hermosa Avenue,” in Bird Rock, San Diego police spokesman Scott Lockwood told NBC 7 on Tuesday.<\/p>\n
Few details are available at the moment, but according to NBC, there were several cop cars, a police motorcycle, and a bomb squad fire truck in the area around 1:15 pm. Little activity could be seen.<\/p>\n
Around 1:30, there was a discussion between nine of the first responders on-site, including a bomb squad member wearing heavy protective clothing. The discussion was short and the group disbanded after, including the bomb squad member, who headed back to the bomb squad vehicle.<\/p>\n
Officers began removing tape and wrapping things up around 1:40.<\/p>\n
