Some Coronado residents woke up to an unpleasant surprise this week. Many houses with signs in support of President Trump were seen with an extra sign that said “Racism Lives Here Make America Great Again!”<\/span><\/p>\n

Several disgruntled residents took to Facebook to voice their anger over the signs.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

“Waking up to find this in our yard this morning, little did our ‘knowledgeable’ neighbors who left the 10-page letter in our mailbox ‘educating us’ on police brutality know we had cameras up,” said one resident.<\/span><\/p>\n

Longtime Coronado resident Mary Scyocurka had this to say following the incident:<\/span><\/p>\n

“It\u2019s unfortunate that liberals are committing misdemeanors by going on private property, stealing Trump 2020 years signs and banners. But rest assured that every time I hear of a Trump sign being stolen I donate another $20 to the Republican Party to replace that sign. So, people stealing signs are indirectly helping to elect republicans. I as well as all the republicans that I know denounce racism in any form.”<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Several residents caught the culprit on video and the Coronado Police Department is investigating the situation. One resident’s security footage can be viewed below.<\/p>\n
