Ammar Campa-Najjar has repeatedly lied to voters in the 50th District, claiming that Darrell Issa lent the proceeds of a PPP Loan to his campaign.<\/p>\n

Not only is this claim outrageously false, it is easily disproven.<\/p>\n

If Ammar Campa-Najjar is willing to be so cavalier in making such an outrageously false statement to voters, what else is he lying about?<\/p>\n

He has repeatedly lied about saying on video<\/a>, that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce is, \u201cthe Devil.\u201d<\/p>\n

He has lied about his stance<\/a> on Single Payer Healthcare.<\/p>\n

He has lied about his support<\/a> for the Green New Deal.<\/p>\n

He has lied about his support<\/a> for the job-killing Trans-Pacific Partnership.<\/p>\n

A business, owned by Darrell and Kathy Issa, Greene Properties, LLC, did receive a PPP loan. Official records show the loan proceeds were used to pay salaries of employees and other permissible expenses under the program. Mrs. Issa\u2019s salary was not paid with PPP proceeds, nor was her $25,000 salary used in the calculation of loan eligibility. Mr. Issa does not receive a salary from Greene Properties, nor has he ever.<\/p>\n

Green Properties C.F.O Rich Hirshberg applied for the loan on behalf of the company and oversaw the disbursement of funds. An affidavit from Mr. Hirschberg details the use of the funds, which were all used for appropriate and permissible purposes under the PPP program.<\/p>\n

Darrell and Kathy Issa are proud that they have never laid-off any employee in more than 40 years in business.<\/p>\n
