Dustin Trotter is the Republican Party of San Diego County\u2019s endorsed candidate for Santee City Council District 4. He is a small business owner and active volunteer in the Santee community. Among the community organizations he works with are the Santee Santa\u2019s program, Santee Food Bank, Guardian Angels Church, Santee Parks and Recreation Committee (SPARC), and the Community Oriented Policing Committee (COMPOC).<\/span><\/p>\n

One of the main issues Trotter is concerned with is public safety. If elected, he hopes to improve public transportation through fixing Highway 52, in addition to putting more money into fixing the city\u2019s deteriorating roads.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Another one of his major campaign promises is to create a more business-friendly environment by removing excess regulation and red tape to ensure the government doesn\u2019t interfere with small businesses and the local economy.<\/span><\/p>\n

Dustin will be an effective leader for Santee\u2014as he has been for years. His experience explains why he has been endorsed<\/a> by former Congressman Darrell Issa, State Senator Brian Jones, State Assemblyman Randy Voepel, Santee Mayor John Minto, El Cajon Mayor Bill Wells, Coronado Mayor Richard Bailey, San Diego County Gun Owners, San Diego County Deputy Sheriffs’ Association, The Lincoln Club of San Diego County, the East County Chamber of Commerce, and countless other local leaders, organizations, and businesses.<\/span><\/p>\n
