ACA 5, the racist and regressive<\/a> affirmative action initiative advanced by Democrats in the State Legislature, will be on the November ballot as Proposition 16\u2014and it’s crucial that we all vote against it.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prop 16 would repeal Prop 209, which was passed back in 1996. Prop 209 made the California Constitution completely non-discriminatory by making discrimination based on race, gender, ethnicity, and several other aspects illegal. It ended affirmative action and put everyone on an equal playing field.<\/span><\/p>\n

“The state shall not discriminate against, or grant preferential treatment to, any individual or group, on the basis of race, sex, color, ethnicity, or national origin,” was officially added to the language of the California Constitution as a result of Prop 209.<\/span><\/p>\n

Now, with all of the race pandering coming from the Democrat Party, they are eager to end that equality and return us to the 20th century, when it was socially acceptable to discriminate. The change would be primarily used to bolster “marginalized groups” and would negatively impact Asians and whites solely based on their skin color.<\/span><\/p>\n

In the last few weeks, we have seen blatant racism and discrimination towards Asians and whites alike, largely stemming from Black Lives Matter and ANTIFA. Just last week, the Department of Justice announced that Yale University violated Title VI of the 1964 Civil Rights Act by discriminating against Asian-American and white applicants.<\/span><\/p>\n

Democrats want to tear this country apart by convincing black and Hispanic people that they are victims, and by pushing Asians and whites down to pander to their base. Proposition 16 is just another gross step in their broader plan. That’s why it’s vitally important that we reject Prop 16 and vote out the Democrats who thought this was an acceptable change in the first place.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
