Joining the ranks of multiple reputable organizations endorsing Joe Leventhal for City Council District 5 is the Associated General Contractors of America-San Diego chapter. The AGCSD is dedicated to improving the livelihood of construction workers by educating the construction industry to employ the latest technology and finest skillsets. They advocate for the best quality projects possible for public and private owners.<\/span><\/p>\n

“Joe is an excellent candidate for City Council who will support priorities that reinvigorate the local economy and improve our quality of life,” said AGCSD Executive Vice President Brad Barnum. “The Associated General Contractors of America, San Diego Chapter are proud to endorse him for District 5.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Joe Leventhal has already been endorsed by San Diego Mayor Kevin Faulconer, San Diego City Councilmen Mark Kersey and\u00a0Chris Cate, retired San Diego Police Chief Shelley Zimmerman, homeless advocate Father Joe Carroll, the San Diego Regional Chamber of Commerce, the San Diego Association of Realtors, and the Associated Builders and Contractors of San Diego, among others.<\/span><\/p>\n

“I\u2019m glad to have the endorsement of AGC San Diego,” said Leventhal. “As your Councilman, I will support AGC\u2019s priorities of improved local infrastructure, economically responsible environmental policy, and fair and open competition for city contracts in a manner that does not discriminate against the vast majority of our workers.”<\/span><\/p>\n

Joe Leventhal has been adamant about prioritizing getting San Diego\u2019s economy back on track to ensure that San Diegans don’t have to worry about whether they will be able to return to work and earn a living.
