Talk of \u201clifting the quarantine\u201d has been circulating the media for the past week. It has certainly been a polarizing issue. Some, fearing the worst, have advised to take every precaution necessary, while others believe that this quarantine is doing more harm than good.<\/span><\/p>\n

However, we can\u2019t deny the facts: America is growing restless. Tens of millions of working class citizens have been left jobless, and are desperate to return to work. Having been confined to our homes for over a month, we\u2019re all left wondering when things will change.<\/span><\/p>\n

Many have begun to support gradually lifting the quarantine and taking necessary precautions to ensure the safety and well-being of the public. Among them is congressional candidate Brian Maryott, who has recently advocated for rolling back shelter-in-place orders.<\/span><\/p>\n

We don\u2019t need 100,000 \u201ccontact tracers\u201d and we don\u2019t need a \u201cjobs program\u201d – we need to lift draconian \u201cshelter in place\u201d orders and return to normal life, with some obvious precautions. We are going to bankrupt this country in short order if we stay on this absurd path. #CA49<\/a><\/p>\n
