The fifth installment of 49th congressional district candidate Brian Maryott\u2019s weekly virtual town hall series will take place Wednesday night at 6:30 P.M.\u00a0This week, Maryott will have a special guest, Chris Megison, who is the founder of the local nonprofit Solutions for Change.<\/p>\n

Solutions for Change takes a unique approach to solving the homelessness epidemic currently plaguing much of California. Some of the ways they are helping families is through housing, education, career training, mental health services and many other resources for families in the Vista area.<\/p>\n

Maryott is currently partnering<\/a> with Solutions for Change to help 50 local families in need. Maryott and his team are collecting and donating supplies such as shampoo, hand soap, hand sanitizer, and games. The team is also accepting\u00a0monetary contributions through a\u00a0Go Fund Me page<\/a>, where 100% of donations will go directly to Solutions for Change.<\/p>\n

For Wednesday’s town hall, Maryott will be continuing to use his live stream format to answer questions as they come in.
