It\u2019s essential for all members of our community to pitch in where and when they can in light of this crisis. However, those who go above and beyond to take an active role in helping others as best they can truly exemplify what it means to be a leader.<\/span><\/p>\n

San Diego City Councilman Chris Cate has been doing great things since day one. From participating in and promoting the annual Race for Autism to helping Joe Leventhal with the SDPOA Childcare center, Cate has consistently stepped up to the plate and proven why he\u2019s one of San Diego\u2019s most valuable leaders.<\/span><\/p>\n

Cate took to Twitter recently to address recent developments in the world around us. He knows that these times are difficult for many, and reached out to those in need of help coping. He\u2019s promoting the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) San Diego, a nonprofit that provides services to help improve the lives of those impacted by mental illness.<\/span><\/p>\n
