The Thumbprint Project Foundation is a local organization that helps homeless children who have been impacted by domestic violence.\u00a0<\/span>They have partnered with many local businesses and organizations to help further their mission. Some of these include\u00a0<\/span>The San Diego Foundation<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Amazon Smile<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>Good360<\/span><\/a>, <\/span>San Diego Regional Task Force on the Homeless<\/span><\/a>, and several others.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

They already do so much for our community, and they certainly aren\u2019t stopping now.\u00a0<\/span>The foundation recently said that they are \u201chonored to help during this time of uncertainty.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

The Thumbprint Project Foundation provided The Door of Hope-Salvation Army with cases of diapers and wipes. Homeless children desperately need these supplies and\u2014because of COVID-19\u2014most stores are out of stock.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cThese homeless mothers and children have not only been impacted by Domestic Violence but now the fallout of COVID-19. These women have been working hard in their transitional process back into society on the 7-acre campus. They have now experienced loss of jobs, income, anxiety, and fear for the future of their children is real,\u201d read a statement by Thumbprint Project Foundation President Kristie Bruce-Lane.<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s important that we appreciate The Thumbprint Project Foundation and the thousands of other organizations that work for the greater good of the community, seeking no reward for themselves. On May 8, Kristie Bruce-Lane will appear on the San Diego-Union Tribune and Cloudcast Media’s Community Spotlight radio show<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n
