Following the passage of the $2 trillion spending bill in the House, Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy made some Floor Remarks.<\/span><\/p>\n

In his nine minutes of remarks, McCarthy reminds Americans that they aren\u2019t alone. \u201cI want to say to everyone watching us at home right now\u2026we hear your concern \u2026 we feel your anxiety, and we know what we need to do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cWhen this year began, Americans were enjoying a level of peace and prosperity unheard of in modern times. The economy was at record highs. Unemployment for American workers was at record lows. Take-home pay was rising, and business closures were falling,\u201d he continued. \u201cBut a few weeks ago, we learned about an invisible enemy from a distant land \u2014 an enemy like we had never faced before.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

It’s worth emphasizing that McCarthy makes it clear that the virus is from \u201ca distant land.\u201d When President Trump referred to coronavirus as the \u201cChina Virus,\u201d the liberal media lost its collective mind. This despite the fact that <\/span>China has lied about the virus from the beginning<\/span><\/a> and even <\/span>tried to blame American soldiers<\/span><\/a> for bringing the disease. The same liberal media had been referring to the virus as \u201cWuhan Coronavirus\u201d up until the very moment the president uttered the words \u201cChina Virus.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n
