Assemblywoman Lorena Gonzalez over the weekend received much-needed criticism for her most recent travesty of a bill\u2014AB 5. This bill effectively looked to cut the source of income for many workers in California and even hurt free speech by limiting freelance writers’ ability to work.<\/p>\n
In uncanny behavior, from an elected official, the Assemblywoman attacked dissenters of the bill (journalists) on Twitter using foul language and aggression to disagree with them. When her assault was not enough, her spouse, County Supervisor Nathan Fletcher, attacked the dissenters as well.<\/p>\n
\n3. Meanwhile her husband, a San Diego County Supervisor, a @UCSanDiego<\/a> professor, and an appointee to @AirResources<\/a> (courtesy of my former boss Gov Newsom) has tweeted that I\u2019m a \u201ctotal asshole,\u201d (sometimes) and that \u201cI hope he gets help\u201d<\/p>\n
