The total amount owed is\u202f$8.63 billion dollars, $566 million\u202fmore\u202fthan last year\u2019s total\u202fof\u202f$8.1\u202fbillion.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1,013,632 secured tax\u202fbills were sent in early October and are online to view and pay at\u202f<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sdttc.com\/\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.sdttc.com\/&amp;source=gmail&amp;ust=1702406684094000&amp;usg=AOvVaw0Ei4d73ax0wTs5hXNNgtET\">sdttc.com<\/a>. Taxpayers can pay online free using\u202fan\u00a0<em>e<\/em>-Check (electronic check), and will get an immediate, emailed confirmation. \u201cMore than 70% of taxpayers now pay electronically because it is secure, fast, and easy,\u201d said McAllister.<\/p>\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\n<p style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The first property tax installment was due on\u202fNovember 1, 2023, and\u202fwill become delinquent after December 11, 2023.
