Lakeside, CA \u2013 \u201cI\u2019m joining the Republican Party of San Diego County and endorsing conservative Andrew Hayes for California State Assembly,\u201d said Congressman Darrell Issa, representing the overlapping 48th Congressional District. \u201cHayes stands with Donald Trump, supports secure borders and law-and-order, and will fight Gavin Newsom in Sacramento,\u201d continued Issa.<\/p>\n

\u201cCarl DeMaio is a Never-Trumper who supports sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants and supports radical abortion-on-demand. His agenda will never fly in East County,\u201d Issa concluded.<\/p>\n

\u201cI am honored to have earned the support of Congressman Issa, a longtime conservative leader,\u201d Andrew Hayes said. \u201cJoin us if you want to stop the release of sexually violent predators, support Parents\u2019 Rights, secure our borders, and crack down on criminals.\u201d<\/p>\n

The 75th Assembly District is a solidly GOP district, with an 11% Republican registration advantage. The district covers a vast territory of Eastern and Northern San Diego County, from the Riverside County line to the US-Mexico border, all the way east to the Imperial County line. AD-75 includes the communities of Alpine, Bonita, Bonsall, Borrego Springs, Fallbrook, Jamul, Julian, Lakeside, Pala, Pauma Valley, Pine Valley, Poway, Ramona, Santee, Scripps Ranch, and Valley Center.<\/p>\n

Hayes is the only candidate endorsed by the California Republican Party and San Diego County Republican Party, a significant advantage over all of his opponents in this Republican district.<\/p>\n
