(SAN DIEGO \u2014 November 14, 2023) In recognition of Supervisor Anderson’s contributions to the business and non-profit communities of District 2 through County grant allocations, Mi-Box San Diego and the East County Chamber of Commerce are hosting an appreciation event for Supervisor Anderson.<\/p>\n

In the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic, San Diego’s small businesses\u00a0struggled to stay afloat. The County founded the\u00a0Small Business Stimulus Grant Program to provide economic assistance to businesses and nonprofits\u00a0impacted by COVID-19, helping them pay back rent, payroll, and other operational expenses. Since taking office, Supervisor Anderson has awarded over $5 million to businesses and nonprofits in his district through this grant program.<\/p>\n

This event is an excellent opportunity to hear from those who have benefited from a County Small Business Stimulus Grant. Representatives from business and nonprofit recipients will share their testimonials with the Supervisor. Media is invited to attend and cover this positive, heartfelt\u00a0event.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/td>\n<\/tr>\n<\/tbody>\n<\/table>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
