Lakeside, CA \u2013 The Peace Officers Research Association of California (PORAC) today announced their endorsement of Lakeside School Board President Andrew Hayes in the race for the 75th<\/sup>\u00a0Assembly District.<\/p>\n

PORAC works to support California law enforcement officers and promote public safety in our communities and, as the largest law enforcement organization in the state, the group represents over 80,000 public safety professionals.<\/p>\n

\u201cOur law enforcement officers are overworked, underfunded, and deserve the support of elected officials in our state capital,\u201d said PORAC President Brian Marvel. \u201cPORAC is proud to endorse Andrew Hayes because we know that he\u2019ll fight for our officers, hold criminals accountable, and keep California safe.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cThe brave men and women of law enforcement put their lives on the line every day to keep us safe,\u201d said Hayes. \u201cWe must defend our police, not defund them.
