In the United States, Americans have a right to privacy.<\/p>\n

Tomorrow, the La Mesa City Council will vote on installing 20 license plate reader cameras throughout the City.<\/p>\n

License plate reader cameras tracking and capturing enormous amounts of data on the movements of innocent people should provoke extreme Orwellian unease\u00a0from the public.<\/p>\n

Government surveillance can and will be used against us – see the USA Patriot Act of 2001 which has been corrupted to spy on American Citizens.<\/p>\n
